This soap dispenser looks great with my sink and faucet (stainless) and has worked well for the year we've had it. To fill it however, it sometimes is a bit of a pain. Sometimes only the top will come off and not bring the suction "straw" which needs to come out in order to put more soap in...but it comes out after a couple of tries, just not the first one. I do wish I had purchased two of them and put lotion (or dish soap) in the other one...so overall good product for the price.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Worked fine for the first four years and then started clogging, rusted out underneath and cracked at the bottom of the housing. Next time I'll make sure the top portion is all metal.
